On the shores of beautiful Lake Cumberland, Joe Scott hand crafts his popular line of Toys, Games, Puzzles & related items. Joe has been making his famous toys for nigh on to 25 years. They are sold throughout Kentucky, as well as other parts of the United States and two foreign countries.

Scott is one of the few recognized toy makers in the State of Kentucky. His shop known as "Log Cabin Crafts" is filled with a various assortment of toys from handcrafted trains to a tic-tac-toe game.

"We make all our own games, toys and puzzles", Scott says. "Most all of the toys, from the miniature cars & trucks to the largest toy he makes, has moving parts and other interesting features.

Immagination is evident in all of Scott's creations. At the helm of his toy tractor is a farmer wearing an acorn hat. A dump truck bed serves as a crayon holder. His trains include a freight train, an animal train and an ABC train.

Since becoming a member of the famous Kentucky Craft Marketing Program, Joe has become renowned as a toy maker throughout Kentucky. He is also a Juried Member of Sheltowee Artisans. Joe was recently invited to join the Southern Arts Federation due to his renowned craftsmanship.

Generally all toys are made from Pine wood to keep the cost to a minimum. However, some items are accented with other woods such as Cherry, Walnut, Oak or other exotic woods for appearance. They are then coated with pure vegetable oil to preserve and make them safe for the little ones.

DUE TO THE FEAR OF TOXIC SUBSTANCE ON TOYS AND THE RECALLS THAT ARE GOING ON, WE WANT YOU, ALL THE CONCERNED PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS ETC., TO REST ASSURED THAT WE USE NO TOXIC OR DANGEROUS FINISHES ON OUR TOYS!!!

Toys that have painted parts, have been painted with Non-Toxic craft paint to also make them safe.
